Some of the basics:

Every Masterli guitar leaves our shop with extremely high standards, including an emphasis on part quality over cost. Like everyone, we do try to keep our costs down, but quality isn't an option to sacrifice. This includes never using nickel frets, we'll always use stainless as a minimum and have extensive experience with others as well. Every guitar neck, regardless of material, will include 2 carbon fiber rods. Overkill? Yes, in most cases the hardwoods used are plenty sufficient in building and maintaining a straight neck without any twist, but this extra step, along with many others, ensure that our guitars will outplay and outlive us all. I suppose we'd leave them out if the entire neck was carbon fiber... Anyway, this isn't a supplement for a two way truss rod, every guitar gets one of these as well. Tempurature and humidity varies around the globe and will affect neck relief and we must be able to adjust on the fly. In the studio or on stage, our guitars are ready.

The Build Experience:

After we finalize your quote, we will procure all of the necessary hardware, components and materials for your build. Afterwards, we'll provide an estimated date of completion. Once we start producing your dream guitar, we will provide status updates at the completion of each process, which may include working images or video of your build as it comes to life. You may also see your build on social media, but you'll likely see your progress beforehand.

Custom Guitar Pricing:

The price of a custom guitar depends on materials, design, inlays, finish, electronics and more. We'll build you the guitar of your dreams and we'll do what's feasable to keep the price affordable. Prices can vary wildly depending on many factors, there is no upper limit on what can be done. For a bare minimum strat style custom, prepare to spend $1,200-$1,500 USD. For a boutique custom guitar, Masterli Guitars requires a minimum non-refundable deposit (up to 1/2 of the final purchase price). Masterli Guitar brand gyuitars, botuqie or from the shop, all come with a limited lifetime warranty. Yes, that's right. We're building your dream guitar, your new family heirloom and we build these instruments to play and inspire for generations.

We'll build you the perfect instrument, and we'll do everything in our power to make sure you're nothing short of exstatic to play it every day. However, if you decide that your instrument just isn't for you, we can help you sell your instrument by listing the guitar on our website, marketing on social media, and more. We may also offer to outright purchase your guitar depending on the build and demand.
